Bisanzio glassworks was born in 1816 as a handicrafts family business. With the passing of time, our desire to produce beautiful things has always remained the same. The spirit which appeals to our master glaziers is unchanged. And our will to produce precious works made by craftsmen can be perceived also in the cooperation with the most important artists coming from Murano the glassworks can boast of. The glassworks collects the works of different artists, among which Walter Furlan and his son Mario, who are two among the most important master glaziers in Murano island. Leone Panisson cooperates with them, in search of exclusive contacts with a lot of art creators, from the most famous such as H. Sobotta, B.Lindstron, F.Bianconi, V.Marzi, to less famous ones. Their cooperation aims at creating a constant search of the emotional depth of forms, of the harmony of colours and the quality of crystals. Each sculpture is derived from a design outlining the first lines, sometimes requiring also a long trial period in order to get to the starting point. The search of perfection gets lost in the silence of furnaces, where the need of giving life to forms is so clear as to create that magic moment which links the executor to the presenter and the buyer in an only art sensation.
